I played basketball through college, then taught myself to code. A couple of years later, I got my first iOS dev job.

Since then I've shipped iOS apps for startups and on my own, and taught other people to build. The longest stretch was Aluna, where I was the founding iOS engineer. I took the app from MVP to something patients used every morning, and the company was acquired after I left. More recently I contracted as a senior engineer on an inherited UIKit codebase, and the job ended up being addressing the massive technical debt, modernizing the codebase while mentoring another dev. That's also when AI became part of how I build. AI made the work more fun, and faster.

As I look for new opportunities, I'm keeping myself busy building Ida, which trains the mental models top founders use until they stick, and Norma, which tells you how many days of freedom your bank balance actually buys. I can bring the iOS depth and an AI-native workflow with me. Open to remote opportunities anywhere from NY to UK time zones.
